In April 1945 several thousand concentration camp inmates were marched along the River Elbe on one of many so called “Death Marches”.

Two of the women who survived it were, Victoria Vincent and Trude Levi.

Their meeting fifty one years later in april 1996 at the Beth Shalom Holocaust Centre in Nottinghamshire, England, was not only emotional, but revealing, as they shared memories and discussed their subsequent survival.

The moment of the meeting has been captured in Anna Cropper and Dalia Friedland’s play:
Across the Bridge.

I was lucky enough to be asked to join this amazing journey and paint it with the right notes.

Later, I had put the music together into a musical form that is called a symphonic poem.

This orchestral piece is still waiting to be heard….
