I wrote this piece during my residency at Wildacres, May of 2010. In the mountains of North Carolina I came to be inspired. The skies were clear and the light of the moon was bright and strong.
I couldn’t resist it – I had to write something.

The native americans lived by the moon – loved by the moon – died by the moon. I envy them.

This piece fillid my moons in the mountains, with the rituals, scales, sounds and lives of the native Americans in my heart.

I love this piece – still looking for that first performance.
