Yizkor, which means remembrance in Hebrew, is Judaism’s memorial prayer// I had written this piece in 2001 after the horrific events of 9//11- the solo voice that cries//the solo voice that is heard no more//
I couldn’t think of a better instrument then the cello to express the pain and loss of innocence // Only in 2009 I added the Allegro and Andante to reflect what happend befor this movement (the largo)//
